These terms govern your use of the Coromandel Tours website at coromandeltours.com and our handling of any enquiry you submit. By using the site or contacting us through it, you agree to these terms.

About us

Coromandel Tours is the leisure travel arm of Coromandel SAS, registered in Bogotá, Colombia. We are a travel curator: we design itineraries and coordinate trips in our published destinations, working with carefully selected local operators, guides, drivers, and accommodation providers in each country.

How we work

The tours on this site are starting points. Almost every trip we arrange is shaped around the traveller, in conversation with us, before any booking is made. We respond to enquiries by email and prepare a proposal; a trip is only confirmed once you accept a written proposal and we have issued a booking confirmation.

On the ground, your trip is delivered by our local partners under arrangements we have made with them on your behalf. We remain your single point of contact and take responsibility for the coordination of your itinerary as described in your booking confirmation.

Enquiries and quotations

Prices shown on this website (where displayed) are indicative starting prices and are subject to availability, seasonality, group size, exchange rates, and the final itinerary you choose. Any quotation we issue is valid for the period stated in the quotation itself, after which we may need to re-price.

Information submitted through our enquiry form is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Bookings, payments, and cancellations

Detailed booking terms, including deposit amounts, payment schedule, cancellation charges, refund rules, and any change fees, are set out in the written proposal and booking confirmation for your specific trip. Those trip-specific terms, together with these website terms, form the agreement between us for that booking.

Where a booking includes services from third-party suppliers (for example airlines, hotels, cruise operators, or national parks), those services are also subject to the supplier's own terms, including their cancellation and refund rules.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for every trip we arrange. Cover should include medical care, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and curtailment, and any activities included in your itinerary (such as high-altitude trekking, where relevant). It is your responsibility to arrange suitable insurance before you travel.

Passports, visas, and health

You are responsible for holding a valid passport with sufficient remaining validity, obtaining any required visas, and meeting any health, vaccination, or entry requirements for the countries you will visit. We are happy to share general guidance, but the final responsibility rests with you and official requirements can change at short notice.

Responsibility and liability

We take care in selecting our local partners and in coordinating your trip. However, we are not liable for loss, injury, delay, or inconvenience caused by events outside our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, strikes, political instability, supplier insolvency, illness, or the acts or omissions of third-party suppliers.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to your booking.

Website content

All text, photographs, illustrations, logos, and other content on this site are owned by Coromandel Tours or by their respective authors and contributors, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to our pages, but you may not copy, reproduce, republish, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

We try to keep destination descriptions, itineraries, and images accurate and up to date. Even so, the site may contain occasional errors or out-of-date information, and details of any specific trip are confirmed only in your written proposal and booking confirmation.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to send unsolicited or abusive messages, to attempt to access areas of the site you are not authorised to use, to interfere with its operation, or for any unlawful purpose.
